Volunteering in Barnet's Children's Centres
Become a Children's Centre Volunteer and we will give you the chance to learn new skill and get training. You can play a positive role in your local community.
You could support a range of groups and activities. It does not matter how much time you are able to give.
Volunteering offers the following benefits:
- improve your self-confidence and develop new skills
- improve your CV and gain references
- prove to an employer you have experience of working in a professional environment
You can volunteer at any of the children’s centres in Barnet for as little as two hours per week. Ask at your local children’s centre for available roles, or search at Volunteering Barnet.
We have a responsibility to keep children safe and will need you to complete a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) form. We will also ask you for character references from two people that know you.
